The enigmatic Sohma family shares a great secret, its members are possessed by spirits of the Chinese Zodiac,
and when they are hugged by members of the opposite sex, they transform into their Zodiac animal! Tohru Honda, an orphaned
high school freshman, is given lodging in the Sohma household in exchange for taking care of household chores. The humble
Tohru is quite grateful for the Sohma family's generosity, and the longer she stays with them, the more they realize what
a blessing she is in their lives, as well.

Comments: Fruits Baskets mi amore! I started
this series on a lark after someone let me read the first two books. It was cute, it was funny, it was all the shoujo-y cuteness
I never read or watch but it was just what I needed after all the Fushigi Yugi and Ceres I'd been reading. (Those are good
too, check out the other ratings.) It seems like the manga-ka has an idea in mind as to where she's going with the story but
then she keeps taking the characters off on the most random tangents, just so she can play around with their interactions.
If you want a driven series this isn't it, if you want something nice, cute and sweet, here you go. Its sweet in spite of
some very serious undercurrents and themes.

Absolutely cute story. The storyline is very
humorous; any fan of Ranma 1/2 would like this a lot. There is no real 'goal' for the main character except to help her friends
and be of some use, and the love thing for Tohru is a little confusing, but, the story is still very cute and very funny.

and story just amaze me, as go for the artwork. The whole storyline, the search for the Philosopher's Stone to restore themselves,
is interesting thus far. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in anything even relating to alchemy, or like slight
fantasy.

Well, I haven't actually seen or read it, but
I have researched it! And my research has informed me that this series is a keeper! All the characters interact wonderfully
and are great in their own right, and the plot is great too. Plus, short jokes abound, which I, being about the same size
as Ed, can appreciate! So, no rating, but a good review!

I really like this series, it's more down-to-earth,
where the main character is amazingly strong, but rather, you watch him become stronger as he goes through the story. I don't
really like how the two are on an adventure in the beginning and then suddenly, are 10 and just starting out, thats my only
complaint.

Full Metal Panic
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/Originality05/fullmetalpanic.jpg)
A tie-in to the smash-hit anime series of the same name, the Full Metal Panic! Manga is the story of gung-ho young secret
agent Sosuke Sagara, assigned to go undercover and protect high-school honor-student Kaname Chidori from a band of international
terrorists. Needless to say, Sosuke’s background as a counterinsurgent guerrilla isn’t the best possible preparation
for high-school!

FMP is a humorous series with some serious parts
thrown in. Overall it concentrates on the relationship between Kaname and Sosuke, with some of Sosuke's past and Kaname's
high school life keeping them on their toes. Lots of explosions and overreactions, and it's a fun series to read! I haven't
seen the anime, just a glimpse, but if it's anything like the manga it should be great.

Fushigi Yuugi
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/Originality05/fushigiyuugimiaka.jpg)
Prolific shoujo (girls) comics artist Yu Watase has created a wonderfully
exciting, funny, and heartfelt tale of a normal high-school girl who is transported into a fictional version of ancient China.
She encounters base villains and dashing heroes, and still manages to worry about her grades and where her next feast is
coming from.

I still read it, I still watch it, and I still yell at Miaka and Tomahome.

One of the best series I have ever seen. The
animation is stunning, the storyline takes the reader/watcher on a rollercoaster of emotion. The characters become like famliy
as you read on and the ending is, to say the least, beautiful. All I can say is, Wow.
