Case Closed

Kudo Shinichi (Jimmy Kudo) is a seventeen year-old high school detective whom people call the "Modern Sherlock Holmes." However, one night after a date with his childhood sweetheart, Ran (Rachel), Shinichi witnessed an illegal trade and, caught off his guard, was knocked unconscious and fed a drug that was supposed to kill him... but he woke up and found himself shrunken to a seven year-old. In order to track down the men who did this to him, Shinichi hid his identity and lived with Ran, whose father happened to be a hopeless detective, and with that came a series of murders and mysteries that he must solve.

Comments: A great way to kill time, its midly vulgar, and bloody and twisted, but still a great series. Theres no real plot, and you could more than likely get whats going on even if you started to watch it in the middle of the series, like I did. The whole Jimmy/Rachel thing amuses me to no end, and the animation is very good, from what I saw. I recommed this if you're into a good series with no real plot or storyline, but still would love a good laugh.

Comments:
It's a cute series, a great way to kill time when you're bored late at night. The storyline is kind of childish, but there's a bit too much blood and gore for a young one. The love thing between Jimmy and Rachel is just ridiculous, but at the same time, kind of funny. I recommend it if you're into the goofy storyline and no real 'plot'.

Chobits

Chii isn't your average humanoid computer. She can't do word processing, she can't connect to the net, and she's incapable of interfacing with other persocoms ... but when the hapless, techno-phobic Hideki rescues her from the scrap heap and takes her home, he finds that she may be more advanced than her childlike behavior lets on ..

Comments: I loved this series, from begining to end. I'd have to say, its very cute and humorous, but sometimes contains slight preferences to porn, although this can easily be overlooked seeing as its funny to watch each episode all the way through. I'd recommend this to anyone, just because it's a good story, the plot in the ends comes out really nice, and the animation is fantastic.

Comments:
Really cute series, one of my personal favorites. It has a lot of humor thanks to poor emotional Hideki, and the innocent and curious Chii. There are frequent references to porn and pervertedness, but in a way that you can only laugh at it. The love line is kind of fan-pleasing, but cute. I recommend it if you have a sense of humor.

Cowboy Bebop

One of the most popular anime series ever has inspired one of the hottest manga in America! Cowboy Bebop blends science fiction, spaghetti western, film noir, and jazz music into a new genre that’s all about style.
In the twilight of the 21st century humanity left the ruins of Earth to find opportunity in the farthest reaches of the Solar System. Following the wave of expansion was an outbreak of crime. Syndicates, con men, and crooks thrived when Earthly law and order couldn’t keep up. Enter the ‘Cowboys,’ bounty hunters of the new frontier. With thousands of wanted men on the loose, there are millions of woolongs to be won if you catch the right prey.
Spike Spiegel and Jet Black are a pair of bounty hunters who could have been the best – if it weren’t for their bad luck and their nagging good consciences. With their unwanted partner/rival, Faye Valentine, and the hacker wunderkind, Ed, this motely crew has been through some of the craziest adventures this side of Ganymede.

Comments: Cowboy Bebop is a classic. Period. Wonderful animation and memorable characters, with mixes of angst, drama, and comedy make this series a must-see. The plot gets kind of confusing, as we begin to see Spike's past start to interfere with his present, but it's still worth watching. The manga is great too! You get hooked from the start.

I love the animation, and the characters just stick to your memory. The storyline gets kind of dull, or at least I thought so and the side stories are sometimes great, and sometimes irrelevant to the story, but overall, its a great series.
